Julia Westerbeke and Emily Weiner at "Re-turn" Barnard Alumnae Exhibition

Congratulations to my wonderful friends and fellow alumnae Julia Westerbeke and Emily Weiner, showing work in “Re-turn.”

Julia will present semi-abstract sculptures which she refers to as “alien organic,” composed of minute repetitive geometries. Emily’s recent paintings explore abstraction, illustrating a step-by-step process of distorting the female figure in a diagrammatic yet romantic way.

Opening reception Thursday, February 10, 7-9pm
