Invitation Design

In addition to website design and branding, we also love working with clients on smaller projects like invitations! A round-up of favorites from 2011, here’s a quick peek at invitations we’ve worked on this year – from wedding, to baby, to party, each one has been a blast! (Can you tell?)

One of the cool things about working on a single invite is that, unlike branding and advertising where we really try to keep the longevity of fonts and icons in mind, we can have a lot more flexibility and fun playing with trendy images, funkier fonts, looser sketches and drawings, and really pull the personality of our clients out with bright colors and images.
The most recent project is this invitation by Kristin for a pre-baby shower party for an expecting Mom. Check it out in the Think Design Portfolio >

Kristin used a mix of fun fonts and gender-neutral colors for this baby shower invitation (since the parents don’t know the sex of the baby yet!). Check it out in the Think Design Portfolio >
A fun Save the Date for a couple’s wedding in Costa Rica. Check it out in the Think Design Portfolio >

And, just in, the corresponding hand-drawn invites for our Costa Rica couple!  These are being printed on 100 pound linen paper in natural:
Wedding invitation and other wedding event invites with hand-drawn swirls, vines, and fish by Jackie (the groom is a Fisheries Biologist). The trout took about four goes to get just right! Check it out in the Think Design Portfolio >

A rockin’ birthday dinner invitation, featuring a real photo of the birthday girl on electric guitar and some totally jazzy fonts.   Check it out in the THINK Design Portfolio >
If you are planning an event and are looking for invitations with a personal touch, drop us a note! We’d love to hear from you and chat about your upcoming event.
